Green Sulphur Springs, WV (March 9, 2019) – Police responded to a fatal accident this week that they claim took the life of a man on Tuesday night on Interstate 64. The man who lost his life has since been identified as Travis Forren from Greenbrier.
The accident took place around 7:50 p.m. on March 5 in the eastbound lanes of the highway. Investigators on scene said that a passenger vehicle was not able to stop in time and ran directly into the back of a semi-truck. Forren was the only person who lost his life in this accident.
The roadway was cleared but took several hours until police had the scene cleaned up. Their investigation into the accident continues at this time.
